Embed sustainability into the organization processes and system (ISO 9001, ISO 14001)

We adopt the Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) framework, aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), to measure, standardize, and implement sustainable business practices across the FM ecosystems.

We shall carry out activities and plans that benefit both the planet and the community and to reduce environmental impact.

Sustainability Framework

CBM is committed to building a green environment across all our business activities.

Our decarbonization efforts include:

Scope 1: Significant reduction in direct emissions through fleet electrification and enhanced efficiency at our owned Central Laundry Plant (CLP).

Scope 2: Reduced reliance on non-renewable energy sources through strategic alignment with our parent company (CDL) electricity provider and ongoing exploration of renewable energy options.

Scope 3: Lowered indirect emissions e.g. implementation of the linen leasing model, remote working arrangements, set-up tele-communication tools and supporting SMEs in their decarbonization journeys.

Carbon Emission

The operational management of climate-related matters is delegated to the CBM Sustainability Committee, led by Head of Sustainability and a Sustainability Team, with direct accountability to the CBM Senior Management.

Our report shall focus on emissions, emphasizing the understanding and reduction of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions to mitigate climate change and its impacts, in alignment with the company’s Net Zero Commitment Policy.

Our carbon footprint for year 2024 was 5,545 tCO2e.
