CBM Solutions Builds Super-Efficient Chiller Plant for M Social Penang

CBM Solutions (CBMS) recently designed and built a high-performance Central Cooling Plant at M Social Penang. The plant was designed to meet rising cooling demands by reducing energy consumption, saving costs, and supporting M Social’s Sustainability Goals.

The new chiller plant at M Social was dubbed “one of the most energy-efficient in the region”, utilising 60% less energy compared to traditional central cooling systems. CBMS provides a 10-year performance guarantee for the plant, securing sustained efficiency and ongoing energy savings for the hotel over the long term.

A web-based Energy Management System was also developed, which helps hotel staff monitor the plant 24/7. The system will send alerts via SMS and email should it encounter issues, ensuring fast and smooth remedial operations.
